Share a forecast, add Helm to your home screen, and sun times
There's a Share button now, right under the location name — tap it to send a link straight to any water's forecast, which opens for whoever you send it to with no extra taps and its own preview card. You can also install Helm to your phone's home screen so it opens like an app: look for the install prompt, or on iPhone use Share → Add to Home Screen. Each day now shows its sun times in the daily details — dawn, sunrise, sunset, and dusk — so the low-light windows either side of the day are clear. The morning/afternoon/evening outlook now shows each period's most typical conditions rather than being thrown off by a single rough hour. We also added plain-language Privacy and Terms pages, linked in the footer.

A clearer conditions card and a map you can zoom
The conditions card now reads the same way top to bottom whether you're looking at today or a day ahead: current conditions — waves, wind, and weather — up top, then a vertical timeline showing how the day unfolds through morning, afternoon, and evening, then the best time to head out, then the day's details. The best-time card is smarter about the clock now: if that window has already passed it says so, and if a good stretch still remains later today it points you to that one instead. You'll also see the current temperature up top with the day's high kept down in the details. The location map zooms and pans on its own now — pinch or scroll right on the map to move in on any spot without zooming the whole page, with every forecast point visible at once. And the weather icons got clearer: thunderstorms show a yellow lightning bolt, and the clouds now share one consistent look.

Switch between your waters faster, plus a new spot on the Severn
Your saved favorites now sit in a quick row right under the location name — each with a live condition dot and height, and a tap switches the forecast to that water without leaving the page. Signed out, you'll see a few sample waters and can create an account to save your own. We also added a new forecast location: Severn River North, the open reach of the Severn a few miles above Annapolis. Rounding it out — cleaner wind labels and a friendlier thunderstorm icon.

See current conditions first
The forecast now opens with what the water is doing right now — the current wave conditions, wind, and sky — followed by a plain-language summary of how the rest of the day is expected to go, hour by hour beneath it. We also clarified the wave descriptions, made the calmest conditions easier to tell apart by color, enlarged the condition artwork, and fixed a tide chart that could get cut off.

More conditions, more accuracy
Added two new conditions — Choppy and Gale — so the scale better matches real marine forecasts, especially in the range between a light chop and genuinely rough water. Also fixed a bug where a few isolated small ripples could occasionally show as more severe than they really were.
